Home / Product / Stock & back office
Count the stock. Order the stock. See the margin.
A web back office your head office or your kitchen table can reach, running across every branch on the same data the tills use.
EPOS stock control and retail back office software
Purchase orders, deliveries, spot checks, transfers, promotions and margin reporting. The half of an EPOS system that decides whether the shop makes money, run from a browser rather than from the till.
Buying and counting
Where the margin is actually made.
Purchase orders and intake
Raise orders against reorder points and book deliveries in, with short-shipped lines flagged against the invoice.
Spot checks and stock takes
Count a category at a time without shutting. Variance is valued at cost, so shrinkage shows up as money.
Branch transfers
Move stock between shops with a printed receipt and a record at both ends.
Price and promotion control
Change it once and every till follows. Schedule promotions ahead of the cycle.
Barcodes and shelf labels
Generate barcodes and print labels from the price change itself, so shelf and till never disagree.
Variants
Size, colour and fit handled properly, so a range does not turn into forty unrelated products.
Customers, accounts and vendors
House accounts, customer records and supplier detail in the same place as the stock they relate to.
Low stock alerts
Reorder points that tell you before the gap appears on the shelf, per branch.
Reporting
Numbers you will actually open.
See when your trade really happens and staff the shop to match it.
Gross profit per product, so a supplier price rise does not quietly eat the margin.
Branch against branch on the same measures, with group totals on one screen.
The back office
The numbers, the morning after.
Takings, foot fall, refunds and discounts on the day; stock at cost and at retail; sales by product type; volume by month. One screen, every shop.

Live sales by branch, stock valued at cost and at retail, and sales by product type.
Questions
What people ask about stock control.
Can I raise a purchase order from what has actually sold?
Yes. Orders start from sales and current stock on hand rather than from a walk round the shelves, and they can be adjusted before they go. Deliveries are booked in against the order, so shortages show up rather than quietly disappearing.
How long does a spot check take?
Forty lines is about ten minutes, and the shop stays open while you do it. Variance is valued at cost, so what you see is the money rather than a unit count.
Does margin update when a supplier puts costs up?
Yes. GP recalculates when the cost moves, which is the point at which a line quietly stops being worth selling. Where a supplier price file feeds the system — Booker, for symbol stores — that happens without anyone typing.
Can I move stock between branches?
Yes, and it is recorded at both ends with a receipt, so a transfer cannot go missing between two shops that each assume the other has it. Multi-site and enterprise covers group setup.
What reporting do I actually get?
Sales, foot fall, refunds and discounts on the day; stock at cost and at retail; sales by product type; volume by month; and margin by category. All of it opens on a phone, which is the only test that matters for reports you are meant to read at home.
Can I export my product file?
Yes, whenever you want, in full, without asking us. It is your data and there is no charge for it.
