1% flat. Published, not quoted.

Card processing at a flat 1% through our payments partner. 1% on UK debit and credit cards, published on this site like every other price. Amex and commercial cards are quoted separately.

Card payments built into the EPOS system

A flat 1% on every card, with no PCI compliance charge, no authorisation fee and no monthly minimum. Or keep the card provider you already have — the software price does not change either way.

How it works

Built around the money, not the message.

  • Card details never touch the till software. The terminal handles the card; the till sends an amount and gets an answer. That is what keeps your PCI scope small.
  • 1% on UK debit and credit cards, so the everyday card sale costs the same whoever hands it over. Amex and commercial cards cost us more and are quoted separately.
  • Refunds and tips land on the right transaction, so the Z-read ties out first time.
  • If a till loses power mid-payment, it works out exactly what happened before anything is reversed.
  • Not tied to one acquirer. Take our partner’s flat 1%, or keep the provider you already have.

Worth knowing

Common questions about the 1%.

Is 1% really the rate?

Yes, on card takings through our payments partner. Your written quote sets out exactly which card types it covers and any terminal charge, before you sign anything.

Can I keep my current card provider?

Yes. The till integrates with your existing terminal arrangement. We will compare both against your statement and tell you which leaves you better off.

How quickly do I get the money?

Next working day for standard card payments. The exact settlement terms for your account are confirmed in your quote alongside the rate.

What about refunds?

Refunds go back through the same integration and are recorded against the original sale, so your reports and your statement agree.

At the counter

Cash and card in the same sale.

Split the tender however the customer pays. Cash and card sit on the same sale, and the change is worked out for whoever is on the till.
