Software
Pick the line that describes your shop.
One licence per shop, priced by trade, with the weekly figure beside it. Monthly is how every other supplier prices, so it is how you can compare.
| Segment | A month | A week |
|---|---|---|
| Standard retailConvenience, off-licence, vape, pharmacy counter, pet, gift and the rest. | £59 | £13.60 |
| HospitalityCounter service. No table management or kitchen display - see hospitality. | £48 | £11.00 |
| Symbol group (Booker fascias)Premier, Londis, Budgens, Family Shopper. Includes the Booker price file. | £65 | £15.00 |
| ClothingSize and colour variants under one product. | £78 | £18.00 |
| Clothing + Shopify integrationAdded to the clothing licence. | +£17 | +£4.00 |
The symbol rate is £6 above standard on purpose: it includes processing your Booker price file every night. That is explained in the questions below rather than hidden in a footnote.

A second counter is not a second shop, so it is not charged as one. The licence above covers the shop; each extra till on the same premises is the rate in this table. A standard-retail shop with three tills is £59 + £15 + £15 = £89 a month. Hardware for an additional till is £899, the same as the bundle without our card processing — there is no card revenue against a second terminal to offset it.
| Add-on | A month | A week |
|---|---|---|
| Card terminal rentalFor the card machine only, never for the till. | £15 | £3.46 |
There is no care plan to buy, because hardware cover is already in the licence. If a unit fails you get a replacement the next working day rather than a place in a repair queue, and accidental damage is covered too — a drop, a spill, a drawer pulled off a counter, which is not a fault and is not covered as one anywhere else. Two repairs a year, each with an excess. A till that is down is a shop that cannot trade, so it is not something we were ever going to sell you separately.
Hardware

The bundle is £399 with our card processing, £899 without. Individual items are priced so you can add or replace one without a phone call.

What the licence covers
Itemised, not described.
There is no Plus, no Pro and no Enterprise. One licence, and it carries every feature we have built — a single shop gets what a twenty-branch group gets, on the same number, from the people who wrote the software.
Worked examples
What a real shop actually pays.
One till, convenience store
- £399 hardware, once
- £59 a month licence
- 1% on card
A shop taking £12,000 a month on card pays £120 in processing and £59 in licence. Nothing else.
Two tills, symbol store
- £1,298 hardware, once
- £85 a month licence
- 1% on card
The second counter takes the bundle at £899, because there is no card revenue against a second terminal to offset it. The Booker price file is included at the symbol rate, on both tills.
Three shops, one group
- £1,197 hardware, once
- £177 a month licence
- 1% on card
Three shops, so three licences and three first counters at the bundle price. One back office across all three, central pricing pushed out from it, and one invoice.
Questions
Before you ask on the call.
Is there a minimum term?
Twelve months, and thirty-six for standard retail. We publish this rather than leave it to the contract, because the comparison page tells you to demand it of every supplier.
What notice do I have to give?
None.
Is there anything to pay to leave?
The balance of the term.
Do you charge for support calls?
No. Support, updates, maintenance and on-site visits when they are needed are all inside the monthly licence. There is no per-incident charge and no support tier to buy.
Why is the symbol rate higher than standard retail?
Because it does more. At £65 a month the licence includes processing your Booker price file every night: prices, promotions, new lines complete with barcode, pack size, cost and RRP, and gross margin recalculated when costs move. That is the evening job it takes off you, and it is the reason the rate is £6 above standard.
Who actually processes the cards?
We do not publish our acquirer, and we would be wary of a supplier who quotes you a rate without showing you the contract. What matters to you is on this page: one flat rate on every card, no PCI charge, no authorisation fee, no monthly minimum, and the full terms in writing before you sign anything.
What does the 1% actually cover?
UK debit and credit cards in person. No PCI compliance charge, no authorisation fee, no monthly minimum and no separate gateway charge. Amex and commercial cards are quoted separately because they cost us more; you will see those rates in writing before you sign.
Do I have to take card processing through you?
No. The hardware is £399 with our processing and £899 without, and the software price does not change either way.
When do I get the money?
Next working day for standard card payments. The exact settlement terms for your account are set out in your quote alongside the rate.
Is the card terminal included?
The terminal is rented at £15 a month (£3.46 a week). That charge is for the card machine only — never for the till.
Are these prices really all of it?
Yes. Hardware once, the licence monthly, 1% on card, and the terminal rental if you take one. Hardware cover is inside the licence, not a line on top of it. If we ever quote you something not on this page, ask us why.
