Cash up every shift.
Not just at closing.
An EPOS system for UK convenience stores, off-licences and symbol groups. Most tills assume one cash-up at closing time — shops do not work like that, and you only know it if you have stood behind a counter. We have.
Terminal, scanner, cash drawer and receipt printer, with card processing through us.
Everything switched on. Cloud, updates, maintenance, support and call-outs included.
1% on UK debit and credit cards. No PCI charges, no authorisation fees, no monthly minimum. Amex and commercial cards are quoted separately.
£899 for the same hardware if you bring your own card provider. All prices exclude VAT.
An EPOS system for UK retail and hospitality
epos-365 is a complete point of sale system — till software, stock control and a web back office — for convenience stores, off-licences, symbol groups and counter-service hospitality. One till system, one monthly price, and support from people who have worked a counter.
What it does today
Everything the counter needs
Eight things, all working now. If it is not built it is not on this page.
Sell
Scan, weigh, hold a basket, refund. Age checks stop the sale.
See the tillTake card payments
A flat 1%, published with every other price on this site.
See card paymentsManage stock
Deliveries, spot checks, waste and transfers — counter stays open.
See stock controlManage products
One product file. Change a price once, it lands everywhere.
See the back officeSync wholesale prices
Your Booker file lands overnight, complete, margin recalculated.
See BookerRun more than one shop
Central pricing out, transfers between branches, one back office.
See multi-siteUnderstand performance
Takings by shift and operator, margin by category, stock valued.
See reportingKeep serving offline
Broadband drops, the till keeps selling and catches up after.
How that worksAnd what is not
Table management, kitchen display and item modifiers are not built. We would rather name them here than let you find out in month two.
From behind the counter
Things you only know if you have worked a counter
Every one of these came out of running a shop, not a focus group.
- 01
A day has more than one cash-up
Morning, afternoon, late. Each shift balances on its own, against its own float, with its own name on it — so a short till belongs to a shift rather than to everybody.
- 02
The price file is an evening job
If you run a Premier or a Londis you know the one. Your Booker prices, promotions and new lines come through on their own, complete. That evening is yours again.
- 03
A challenge has to be provable in six months
Not remembered. The sale stops, the check is confirmed, and the name of whoever authorised it is on the record when somebody asks.
- 04
Broadband goes at half five on a Friday
The till does not care. It runs on the machine in front of you and catches up on its own when the line comes back.
- 05
Scratchcards never reconcile by themselves
Pack entry is on the till, so the lottery lines land in the same session take as everything else instead of on a bit of paper by the drawer.
- 06
Bananas are sold by the kilo
Weighed lines, open prices and multibuys are all on the same screen as the barcodes. No separate routine, no keypad gymnastics at the busy end of the day.
The screen itself
Serve. Count.End the shift.
Three screens, and your team will have the shape of them inside a morning.
- ✓Till — barcodes, weighed lines, age checks and scratchcards in one basket.
- ✓Stock — spot checks and branch transfers without shutting the shop.
- ✓Shift end — declare the cash, see over or short, filed and synced.
Who built it
I wrote thisbehind my owncounter
I have been a software engineer since 2012 and run my own shop since 2015. For five years I built this in the evenings, around both, because nothing on the market did what a shop like mine needed at a price a shop like mine could carry.
In 2023 it replaced the EPOS on my own counter, and it stayed there a year before anyone else could buy it. When something is slow at five o’clock on a Friday, I feel it the same week you would.
“Publish the price. Include the features. Answer the phone.”
Three rules, and everything else follows. Both rates are on the pricing page. Cloud, updates, maintenance, support and call-outs are inside the fee. And whoever answers you knows the software, because Venkata Seeramreddy wrote it.
